Children's Ministry Service Schedule
Children are vital to the life of our church!
A priority of St. Christopher’s is passing on the Christian faith to the next generation. Your children will always be welcome and central to the life of our community.
Feel free to keep your children with you during worship or take advantage of our outstanding Children’s Chapel (10:15am in chapel) and age appropriate Sunday School programs (10:30am in children’s classrooms). Most of all, we appreciate your entrusting us with your most precious gift—your family!
Our Programs:
Children’s Chapel (10:15am)—An age appropriate worship experience in the chapel every Sunday in the chapel. You not only have time to drop your child off at chapel, please feel free to enjoy a cup of coffee and meet some new friends before the start of worship. From chapel, children will go with their teachers directly to Sunday School. During chapel, we provide our children with music and a lesson on today’s teachings. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Sunday School (10:30am)—Immediately following Children’s Chapel on Sunday morning, our children are broken into age appropriate groups and go with their teacher to class. Our Little Lambs group consists of our pre-k children; our Beulah Land class includes all kindergarten through second grade children; our Kingdom Kids class is for our third through fifth grade students. Each classroom program is lectionary based and provides a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn about the love of Christ and the joys of bible through games, stories, art projects, and more. The teachers bring the children back into the church shortly following the sermon. We have a wonderful group of adult volunteers who dedicate hours of time and energy into this program so your children are sure to have a wonderful experience!
*Please note that we have exceptional nursery care during our 8am and 10:30am services, for all children age two and under.
For more information on any of the above programs, please contact Vanessa Riutta (vanessa@scpen.org) or Shelley Long (fourlongs@att.net). Thank you!
